Nick weighs more than ten pounds now, and he keeps on growing! He spends more time awake and alert, looking around and interacting with his environment. This month he discovered his feet for the first time. Now, when you rub the bottom of his feet or pinch his toes, he will purposefully kick his legs and curl his toes in response.
Milestone moment: Nick has learned how to roll over from his tummy on to his back independently. He doesn’t do this consistently, but he has done it about half a dozen times since the first. None of the grandparents have seen this yet (over video)… but Nick has rolled over for Unka Andrew!
In this month, Nick has also started to spit up, much to Mom’s chagrin. This means that he has started going through two or three outfits a day. Between the spitup and the drool, this amounts to a lot more laundry.
Finally, we are so happy for our good friends out here/our California family, who just had a sweet baby girl! Little baby k will be Nick’s first little buddy, and we can’t wait for play dates.
